New home builders can now address the issue of internal noise that transfers between rooms and floors. Bradford Rockwool now provides the solution, SOUNDSCREEN the acoustic insulation that helps reduce unwanted noise levels.

Installation
SoundScreen can be installed in internal stud walls and floors to form an added sound barrier to the airborne noise generated within a home. It must be installed at the time of construction.

How does it work
Spun from molten basalt and limestone, its dense structure is made up of millions of tiny air pockets which effectively arrest sound transmission.

Effectiveness
Sound Transmission Class (STC) is an acoustic rating used to simplify and compare different types of construction. A SoundScreen wall will give an improvement of 6 STC over a non-insulated wall (equates to 75% reduction in sound power level).
